The Hungarian government has introduced a set of new laws restraining the media and a "crisis tax" on investors, the latest in a series of profoundly illiberal power grabs. There can be no doubt that Hungary poses a very serious challenge for the European Union. Now Europe must defend its principles.My question is -- how can Europe survive with so many different cultures, so many different languages, so many different political tendencies, so many different work ethics?
