Something to think about when investing in Europe

The general consensus is that investing in European markets is the smart thing to do.

My advice? Be careful. Why? Because you are investing in markets with a currency that is tumbling and may even disappear if the EU economy keeps doing so poorly. What do you do with the currency losses you are likely to incur?

Of course, what they are not telling you is that you should hedge for the weakness of the Euro, But now the game becomes more complicated because hedging has a cost. It does not come free.

The opportunities are presenting themselves for private equity capital. They have the opportunity to by companies at wholesale prices.
