Bond yields and stock prices

This chart shows in the upper panel the relationship between bond yields ($TNX) and the S&P 500 ($SPX) (click on the chart to enlarge it).

The important message of the graphs is that rising yields are associated with rising stocks prices at least since last October. Lower yields, on the other hand, lead a stock market correction.
